The Children’s Guild DC Public Charter School (TCGDC) is a tuition-free, publicly funded charter school, serving children in kindergarten through eighth grade in the District of Columbia. TCGDC is open to all students and does not require testing or screening for admission. The Children’s Guild DC Public Charter School (TCGDC) is excited to welcome all families, new and returning, for SY 2022–2023.

The Children’s Guild DC Public Charter School (TCGDC) founded by The Children’s Guild, values the unique talents of your child.
We are an arts integration K-8 city-wide school in Ward 5. The fine and performing arts are both our approach to teaching and the vehicle for learning. Our students experience the arts integrated within each subject to gain a greater understanding of both.
The Children’s Guild’s philosophy of Transformation Education develops caring, committed, and contributing young people for a cause bigger than themselves. The culture of our school is reinforced throughout our school goals, curriculum, environment, and systems. At the heart is our student-centered approach to teaching and learning where our principles are guided by the way we “Think, Act, Care, and Reflect”.
