Students of The Children’s Guild’s Prince George’s County campus and The Children’s Guild District of Columbia Public Charter School attended The University of Maryland’s baseball clinic held on Monday, January 15th at the University of Maryland’s Indoor Practices Facility in College Park.
The baseball clinic was organized for students with autism and special needs and sponsored by League of Dreams, a non-profit organization that provides baseball experiences for individuals with physical or mental challenges. The students participated in baseball activities, skills development activities, and a scrimmage game. Those in attendance included Orioles Hall of Famer, Mike Bordick and Tampa Bay Rays pitcher, Adam Kolarek.
