This week’s character-building message is CITIZENSHIP.
A citizen is a person who lives in a community. Following the rules and laws in your home, school and community is one way you show good citizenship. In a democracy, a citizen has both rights and responsibilities. As a good citizen, you do two important things:
-you use your freedom (rights) wisely
-you do things to help at home and school and in your neighborhood and community (responsibilities).
What better a week to take time to thank the good citizen, a family member of one of our teachers, who donated pillows and care kits to some of our students.
Thank you for showing our kids good citizenship in action!
